WHAT OUR PATIENTS ARE DOING FOR THE CURE Coast to Coast for a Cure Dear Dr. Elliott, My name is Ginny Bonora and I have been a patient at your office for almost 18 years. I am writing to you about a personal matter which, I believe, is a perfect synthesis of what your office is all about -- caring for the mind, body and soul of women, protecting them against the ravages of breast cancer and promoting a healthy lifestyle. It certainly is what I have discovered being a patient of yours and have always recommended your office to my friends. My 22-year-old son, Robbie, and his friend Anthony Greco, 23 years-old, are walking across the United States of America for Breast Cancer Awareness and children with disabilities. They feel the side benefit of their walk is to promote a healthy lifestyle. They are being sponsored by the nonprofit "Gail's Angels," which supports women who have breast cancer and also have a child with disabilities. Rob and Anthony graduated from college in May 2010, and before beginning their careers they wanted to do something philanthropic in appreciation for all the goodness that has come their way over the course of their lives. Robbie has been working throughout college and is a nationally certified physical trainer. Anthony has worked part time his entire college career, also. Both boys are the epitome of healthy eating and living. My family, my son, and the organization, Gail's Angels, would appreciate anything you can do on a personal or professional level to promote this walk. I have enclosed flyers explaining their journal. They left San Diego on June 1 and plan to be arriving back in New Jersey by October 1, the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The journal is approximately 3,000 miles.
