Dr. Heller-Savoy is a dedicated Breast Imaging and Interventional Specialist who has returned to New Jersey after most recently working in South Florida as Director of the Women’s Center at the Memorial Hospital West.
Originally from Livingston, New Jersey and valedictorian of her high school class, Dr. Heller-Savoy graduated Magna Cum Laude from the combined Six Year Liberal Arts and Medical Education Program at Boston University. During medical school, she was President of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received various other accolades. She went on to complete her Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and her Fellowship in Breast Imaging at The Hospital of The University of Pennsylvania.
After her training, Dr. Heller-Savoy’s positions included being Supervising Radiologist of Breast Imaging at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, as well as being the second radiologist in New Jersey to be certified in digital mammography while working at the Wilentz Breast Center.
Dr. Heller-Savoy prides herself on her commitment to high quality, compassionate care for her patients in all aspects of breast imaging and minimally invasive image guided biopsies. She frequently lectures in the community on breast imaging in order to increase public awareness. Her dedication to her husband and three young girls is how she spends virtually all of her time outside of her work.
