Comprehensive Breast Consultation at Montclair Breast Center in Montclair, New Jersey Including Breast Imaging If Necessary
Women
with a specific breast complaint can be evaluated by one of our breast
surgeons, breast imagers, or our breast care Physician Assistant. Common problems such
as breast pain, cysts, lumps, nipple discharge and abnormal mammograms
are evaluated often in conjunction with breast imaging procedures. An
abnormal mammogram is evaluated with additional views. These views can often be discussed and evaluated by both a breast surgeon and/or a Fellowship trained breast imager.
Second opinions, particularly when a biopsy was recommended by an outside facility are welcome. Often our breast surgeons or breast imagers find a biopsy is not necessary. If we agree a biopsy is necessary, we give you all the options: surgical and non-surgical.
